Every Presidents' weekend the trolley museum in Scranton, Pa hosts a steam up. It may seem odd that a trolley museum hosts a steam up but when you see that the trolley museum shares a parking lot with Steamtown, it makes perfect sense! The event is three days long but I was only able to attend one day. In that one day however, I got to see nearly twenty different engines running. They ranged from little scratch built freelance engines to a Nickel Plate Berkshire. The highlight of the day for me was taking part in a triple header with two other rubys.
