It feels so good to steam again! I have not had the chance to go to a steam up in many months and it felt so good to boil water again! This year's train races had great weather and many steamers. Tom Bowdler was teaching the youth how to operate his locomotives and in general preaching the fun of live steam. I have included a picture of the actual rocket powered train race! They tend to be overlooked by the live steamers but are always entertaining.
