I have been chasing steam locomotives all over North America. My Grandfather and my Dad got me hooked on them - so its all their fault! I am 22 years old so I missed the golden age of steam by a few decades but I am really trying to make up for lost time. I decided to rebuild this site with what I have learned while enrolled in a digital media program in college. The original site was a typical first timer web site with the wild backgrounds and mistakes everywhere and I am really trying to improve from that basic beginning. Please feel free to write me with any comments or suggestions. Most of the pictures on this site were taken with a typical 35 mm camera, but as of May 2004, I switched to a 4 megapixel digital camera. I refused to go digital until I received a digital camera for my birthday and I don't know how I survived with out it, but I keep the 35 with me always just in case I need it. I also video tape all the steam I photograph and have recently tried putting a more professional touch to my videos. I have learned how to create DVD'S with menus and special features. I have learned how to use video editing software to greatly improve the content of my video. I am extremely proud of the final products that I have learned to create and decided sell them. Click here for a list and more information. I also enjoy skiing and going to concerts. I really need to find some cheaper hobbies! |
